Understanding Clouds, clouds, and the process of cloud formation, that will be the 3 main points in this post with the theme of the cloud.
A. UNDERSTANDING OF THE WATER
Clouds are a set of water droplets / ice crystals in the atmosphere that occur due to
condensation / solidification of moisture contained in the air after going beyond saturation.
B.PROCESS FORM OF THE CLOUD
The air always contains water vapor. When this water vapor overflows into water spots, clouds form. This evaporation may apply by:When the air is hot
, more steam is contained in the air because the water is quicker to strike. This hot air filled with water will rise high, until it arrives at one layer with a lower temperature, the vapor will melt and form clouds, molecules of infinite water points.
When a cloud is formed, the water point in the cloud will become bigger and the cloud will become heavier, and slowly the pull of the earth pulls it down. Hill until one rating of those points will continue falling down. Hurray until one rating of those points will continue falling down and down the rain.
But if the water points meet the hot air, the dots will evaporate and the cloud vanishes. This is what causes the cloud is always changing shape. The water contained within the alternating clouds evaporates and melts. This is also what causes sometimes there are clouds that do not bring rain.

C. CLASSIFICATION OF CLAUSE
In 1894, the International Weather Commission divided clouds into 4 main groups, high clouds, medium clouds, low clouds, and clouds with vertical developments.
1.High Cloud Group
In the tropics, the cloud is located at an altitude of 6-18 km, in the temperate climatic zone is located at an altitude of 5-13 km, while in the polar region located at 3-8 km.
Clouds that fall into the high cloud are:
a.Awan Sirrus (Ci)
Cloud of Sirrus
This cloud is smooth, and structured like fiber and shaped like a bird feather. This cloud is also often arranged like a ribbon that curved in the sky, so it seemed to meet at one or two horizon points
This cloud does not cause rain.
This cloud is composed rather than a water halbor that occurs due to too cold temperatures in the atmosphere.
The clouds of this cauldron were blown by the rising heat. This cloud is white with no apparent edges.
b.Awan Sirostratus (Ci-St)
Cloud of Sirostratus
Shaped like a soft white moist and flat cover the entire sky so it looks bright, can also look like a matting that is not irregular shape.
These clouds also cause hallo (round circles) that surround the sun and moon that usually occur in the dry season.
c.Awan Sirokumulus (Ci-Cu)
Clouds of Sirocumulus
These clouds appear to be disjointed and filled with ice crystals that form like a sheep and often cause shadows.
2. Medium Cloud Group
In the tropics this cloud is located at an altitude of 2-8 km, the climate is located at an altitude of 2-7 km, while the polar region is located at an altitude of 2-4 km.
Included in the cloud are:
a.Awan Altokumulus (A-Cu)
Altokumulus Cloud
These clouds are small, but the numbers are many
A gray or white grayish Altokumulus is seen at dusk.
Usually shaped like a ball that is rather thick. These clouds are clustered and often close together so that they seem to hold hands.
Each element appears clearly out of one another with the whitish and gray color that distinguishes it from the Sirocumulus.
b.Awan Altostratus (A-St)
Altostratus Cloud
The Altostratus cloud is colorless and covers almost the entire sky.
This cloud produces rain when it is thick enough.
The clouds are formed at dusk and at night and disappear when the sun rises early in the morning.
3.Group Cloud Group
This cloud lies at an altitude of less than 3 km, which is classified into low clouds, among others:
a. Cloud Stratocumulus (St-Cu)
Clouds of Stratocumulus
This cloud is shaped like balls that cover the entire area of the sky, so it looks like a wave.
This layer of cloud is thin and does not produce rain.
This cloud is gray / white that occurs in the evening and dusk when the atmosphere is stable.
b. Cloud Stratus (St)
Stratus Clouds
This cloud is quite low and very luaas. Height below 2000 m.
The layer is widened like mist and layered.
c.Awan Nimbostratus (Ni-St)
Cloud Nimbostratus
The shape is uncertain with ragged edges.
In Indonesia this cloud only causes drizzle.
This cloud is a dark white color that spread in the sky is quite wide.
Cloud Group With Vertical Development
This cloud lies between 500-1500 m, which is classified in clouds with vertical development, among others:
a.Awan Kumulus (Cu)
Kumulus Cloud
It is a thick cloud with a stump
