Clouds in the Qur'an

The cloud in the Arabic language is called 'hip' or 'ghamaamah'. The word 'mamma' is the mass name of the word 'orangabah' which means 'cloud'. The word 'sahaba' is a past form verb meaning pulling or dragging something on the ground. The clouds are said to be 'shepherd' by the Qur'an because the cloud is moving around because it seems to be dragged and driven by the wind.
The plural form of the word 'sahaab' is 'sahaa-ib' or 'suhub'. This is what the word 'ghaimah' and 'ghamaamah' mean.

In the Qur'an, the word 'manger' is called nine (9) times, respectively in QS An-Nuur [24]: 40, and 43, QS An-Naml [27]: 88, QS Ar -Ruum [30]: 48, QS Faathir [35]: 9, without the adjective adjectives for the word 'mamak'. Furthermore, the term 'sahaab' is followed by adjective (na'tun) in these four places: QS Al-Baqarah [2]: 164 with the term ' 7]: 57 and QS Ar-Ra'd [12]: 12 with the term '' warmth thick clouds' ', and in QS Ath-Thuur [52]: 44 with the term' overlapping).
The process of occurrence of cloud has been thoroughly covered by the holy book of the Qur'an. From the cloud then the rain falls, the emergence of lightning or thunderbolt, we can all understand one of them in QS An-Nuur [24]: 43:
24_43
"Do you not see that Allah drives up the clouds, then gathers between them, then makes them overlap, then you see that rain comes out of its clefts; and Allah sends down ice from the sky, of the mountains, so He overthrows whom He pleases, and delivers it from whom He wills. The lightning glow clouds almost disappeared ".

Scientists say that the clouds are of many types but only a few that cause the drop in rain, while the rest is more potentially less rainwater. Clouds are divided by the height of their location from the face of the earth (cloud base), and their shape.
Based on its shape, the Cloud is divided into 3, namely:
Kumulus, the cloud that forms its clumps and is basically horizontal.

The formation of clouds to become rain that descends to Earth is the process of sunnatullah. The clouds that are stacked in the sky are moved and driven in the direction of the wind (QS Ar-Ruum [30]: 48 and Faathir [35]: 9).
"Allah, He it is Who sends the wind, and the wind moves the clouds, and He stretcheth them in the heavens according to His will, and makes them clothed; then you see rain out of its clefts, when it rains down on His servants whom He wills suddenly they will be glad. "
"And Allah, He it is Who sends the wind; and the wind stirred the clouds, and We drove the clouds to a land that was dead, and We revived the earth after his death. That is the resurrection. "
In the course of his journey the little clouds moved God by the wind toward the convergence area, and upon arriving at the cloud convergence area became more and more durable. At the time the clouds begin to thicken, the speed of the wind becomes diminished so clouds become mutually concentrated and overlapping (rukaaman = ركا ما), then there are those who form the mountains (jabaal = جبال) and contain water grains and ice crystals. After the pressure and temperature of water grains ready to be deployed, from the gaps of gunungan then Allah lowered the rain to the surface of the Earth in the area he wanted. Here is the verse of kauniyah and qauliyah:
"In the creation of the heavens and the earth, the alternation of night and day, the ships sailing on the sea bring what is useful to mankind, and what God sends down from the sky in the form of water, then with that water He revives the Earth after the (dead) and He scattered on the earth all kinds of animals, and the winds and clouds controlled between the heavens and the earth; Indeed, there are signs for people who think.
God degrades the raindrops simultaneously in all regions but is divided equally according to his will. When it rains in the west, but in the sunny east and the Sun shines, we will get a wonderful phenomenon of his creation, namely Bianglala alias Pelangi.
